It's just one stressful situation over another. I would be truly thankful once the house has been built and we can move in without any problems. Currently we are experiencing some financial strain because the developer has refused to budge to our extension request. I don't know how I would be able to handle situations like this when DA POGI is not around. As is, I was almost bawling my eyes out after talking to the customer care representative. I just can't handle stressful situations relating to money. I don't like talking about money, but I like earning it. Everything is just happening so fast. I will be without DA POGI for 3 months and I don't know how I will be able to handle the strain. I am so used to being pampered that I am hoping that I will still be alive when he comes back. If you see me eating crackers for lunch just assume that I am on a diet rather than saving money.

Tick another item off the new year's resolution list. We finally claimed our wedding photo album last saturday. Brought it to parents house for everyone to see. Everyone was oohing and aahing over the album. At least it was worth the 1 year wait. :)

For those who have been reading this blog, we all know how much of a Bo Bice fan I am. Of course I was an itsy-bitsy bit disappointed when I found out that Bo didn't win the contest. I just thought that the songs he sang Wednesday night was not really good compared to those that Carrie sang. Vehicle was good, but the two other "originals" were so-so. And America based their votes on that night. A night that was not so good for my Bo. It's not that Carrie is not a good singer. She is. It's just that when she sings, she doesn't evoke any emotions from me. She seems bland. When she sings her facial expression doesn't change and she has just one way to sway to the rhythm. So performance wise she has a lot to improve on. Maybe the anonymous commenter was right, Bo is not so much American Idol material because of his drug related apprehension. Looking at the brighter side of things, can't wait for a CD or an album by Bo.

Ways to celebrate your first anniversary weekend. 1. Go to Mt Samat and hike in the middle of the day. Sweat until your sweat glands can't produce any more. 2. Go to Subic and stay at one of the nicer beach front hotels. One with super courteous staff and remembers your name and which room you're staying in. 3. Walk around Subic. Don't take the car and just walk to the outlets and to the church and to have dinner. Enjoy the fresh air and the conversation. 4. Wake up early Sunday morning and attend mass. Don't be bothered too much by teenager texting during mass. 5. Go to Zoobic Safari. Enjoy the animals, never mind if one bearcat accidentally scratched a woman's forehead. Take pictures and play with the pig. Lure the tiger into coming near the jeep with a live chicken. Feed said live chicken to the tiger. 6. Walk along the beach. Forget about time and just start wandering. 7. Have coffee at Xtremely Xpresso. Get the Caramel Daze. Stay away from Seattle's Best Double Mint Chocolate Frappe. 8. Enjoy the cozy room by cuddling. Talking to each other, playing a game of Query. 9. Open gifts and act surprised even if you know what the gift is. :D 10. Reminisce on the good things that happened during the year and be thankful for them. Make a pact to make more good memories together.

Blogging using my Linux Laptop. You heard that right. I have a Linux laptop to play with and I am trying to learn some admin stuff. I admit that I am a Microsoft slave. Don't even know how to do word processing with Linux. Good thing there's VMWare so I can always go back. ;) Had an uneventful weekend as uneventful weekends go. Slept most of the time. Reconnected with my loving husband. I was so busy last week that I only had a couple of minutes chatting time with my husband before sleep creeps on me. Last week was energy and brain cell draining. Missed making DA POGI laugh. Had 5 hours dedicated to singing just about anything in RedBox. I wonder what my US counterparts will say of me now. I threw all caution in the wind and just sang my heart out. Missed my Videoke session with Friends. We should do that again. With or without any foreign visitor. I love Del Monte's Barbeque Marinade. I bought 2 bottles because DA POGI just loves that stuff. We usually marinade chicken wings or pork chops. This weekend we marinated Pork Ribs. We'll be baking it on Wednesday. YUMMY. Back to the grind. ;)

For readers sick and tired of reading about my American Idol commentaries, stop reading. I am doing another commentary because I am such a fan. Loved Bo doing Stand By Me and Carrie doing Trouble. I hope Anthony gets booted off this week. Honestly, he sucked. I hate Scott but even I have to admit that Scott did better than Anthony. I'm saying that it will be a Bo-Carrie finals while my husband is saying that it's a Bo-Scott. Just because of the Vote for the Worst campaign.

Clumsy clumsy girl. Yesterday, DA POGI and I went to the car show in World Trade Center. I dropped his beloved cellphone. Not in the carpet, but in the parking lot. And everybody who has been in the WTC parking lot knows that it is gravel. My dropping the phone has left a mark on on the phone. A mark that is enough to make me guilty everytime I see it. Today, I baked brownies. I used my one and only 8x8 pyrex dish. I have 3 9x13's but only one 8x8's. And guess what? I dropped it. Not in the oven but waist high. I have cuts in my feet because of the shards of glass and the brownies met their fate on the floor. Our love shack smells like brownies only no brownies. :( I hope I don't drop anything big tomorrow. :(
