Watched Something's Gotta Give yesterday with my super duper poging fiance. Was laughing so hard at some scenes that I was super thankful that someone was laughing harder than I am. Love Jack Nicholson. I was just commenting to DA POGI that all the serious actors make really good comedians. Example in mind, Jack Nicholson and Robert De Niro. Who would've thought that comedy will fit them like a glove? I loved Nicholson in Anger Management and As Good As It Gets. He just looks so serious that if he says something funny it would really be funny. Hay! Ang tagal before they show Love Actually. :(

Haven't had much to blog lately. Most wedding stuff are in my wedding blog and even that has not been updated as often as it should. Not that nothing interesting has happened, it's just that I have succumbed to just letting things be and not saying anything. Funniest thing that ever happened to me was when DA POGI and I had coffee at San Francisco Coffee in Libis and we noticed that this might be the dirtiest coffee shop that we have seen. Their espresso machine was full of coffee stains and the glass panels of the doors were full of fingerprints. Or maybe we just came in too early. Can I just inject caffeine directly to my bloodstream so that the effect is instantaneous?!

My eyebrows have been devirginized. Yup. I finally gave in and had my eyebrows threaded last Saturday. It was a noble reason I tell you. I managed to dodge having my eyebrows plucked/shaved for the last 25 years of my life, but I finally caved in last Saturday. All of my graduation pictures had me showing off my virgin eyebrows. Not that my eyebrows are messy, mind you. I actually have ok shaped eyebrows with some strays here and there, but it never looked messy. I've managed to avoid having them plucked even when most of my high school and college friends were shaping theirs. One condition that I gave to the person who threaded my brows before she started was that she should only work on cleaning up the strays. No changing my actual eyebrow shape. And I tell you, she did a pretty good job! I want to go back to that salon and have my eyebrows threaded again when the strays begin to grow. They made it so easy for me (easy not painless) to accept my new, spanking brows. Not that it changed much. But my face does look cleaner. And I looked half decent for Saturday's wedding. Half decent that my officemates teased me about being pretty in pink. And the flattery did not stop there, they even said that I deserved a second and third look that day because I stood out. I love the miracle of a nice dress and a good make-up artist. :)

My sister has a blog. And it's sometimes weird to read her entries. My sister and I are very close. We've been roommates since she was born! It's hard to think of her differently. Like example, I was shocked to learn about her first kiss. Found out through her blog and I was surprised na naging sila pala ni balat boy. I knew that something fishy was going on between them but I did not comment because if she wanted to tell me, she would just tell me right? Anyways, katawa lang her reaction when I sent her SMS telling her that I knew. Napatawag ang loka sa cellphone ko. O well. DA POGI is starting with his new job today. Last night he's been harping about being nervous since it's his first day today. My DA POGI is a natural when it comes to dealing with people. His subs love him because he's a caring leader. Ayaw nga syang palipatin sana, kaso it's his time to move na rin kasi. I know he'll do well. He's so hardworking and passionate about his job kasi. Lalo na now, he's moving back to handling projects. I know he'll be happier in his new job, because it's what he really wants to do. Sleepy day...

It's been a long time since I last blogged. Was very busy with work. So busy that I was unable to get anything wedding related done in the last 2 weeks! Which according to R is a miracle considering that I am such a mad bride. Heh. :) Anyways, updates updates. Managed to catch Mona Lisa Smile last weekend. It was good. I watch all Julia Roberts movies that I can watch so I definitely didn't miss that one. I even watched Something to Talk About which is a really lame Julia movie. :) I liked Kevin Kline's The Emperor's Club better than this one. I didn't get much the transition of Kirsten Dunst's character of being completely rude to Julia then finally loving her. Of all the feel good movies about school that I watched, it's probably not in the highest place. I would say that I liked The Emperor's Club, then Dead Poet's Society, and then Mona Lisa Smile. Of course these three had almost the same story line about teachers teaching their students more than what is taught in the classrooms. Also reading Digital Fortress by Dan Brown. Been reading for a week, which is so unlike me. Just couldn't stay up much longer when I get home. Always so tired from work. Hay! One more day, at weekend na naman... :)

Was cooped up for a whole day inside a very very cold room. When I say very, think 3 layers of clothing and my nails are still blue, very. Had to ask the trainor for a bio break every hour to relieve myself. I drank hot water all the time in order to neutralize the coldness. Of course it did not work. Why do they have to maek the rooms so cold?! I don't understand it. Or maybe I am just too tropical that I am not able to survive in temperatures lower than 20 degrees celsius. Have to figure out dare for visitor. Says he's willing to try anything and is not afraid of Balut. E kung pwet ng manok kaya, kaya niya?
