As Idol followers might already know, Constantine Maroulis has been booted out. I have said before that I don't like him because I find him pa-cute and his looks border on manyak looks. BUT I believe he has more K to stay than Scott Savol. Sure Connie's performance last Wednesday was off, and never could compare to Bo (BO ROCKED!), but Scott's performance was waaaaayyyyy off American Idol standards. It was so blah that I just wanted the song to finish. Besides, Scott in the top 3?! There's something intrinsically wrong with the voting. So Connie, Vonzell, Anthony in the bottom 3. Vonzell does not belong in that group. I was just telling DA POGI that I wanted a Constantine-Bo Finals, to see who the real rocker is. Now there's no chance of that. Who the heck is voting for Scott?!?!?!?!

My Friendster pictures are outdated. They're outdated and I can't find a new picture to put in there. It's either I haven't had any pictures taken for quite some time or I don't have pictures worth posting. Go figure.

Fish Tycoon is a depressing game. I finally started playing fish tycoon after all the hype from Ela. Started playing and it was quite interesting to see the colors and new style of fishies that would come up after impregnating the fishes. It's just a little depressing seeing the fish that I have taken care of be sold to people and sometimes die. Yesterday, I had a problem with fingerlings dying that I don't know if I should even bother with the game. Good thing I got over it and with some encouragement from my hubby was able to breed healthier fish. Parang tunay na buhay.

Last night's American Idol theme was 70's dance tune. Most of them did all right. Of course with a theme such as this, I would only remember the extreme parts. Like who was the best and who was the worst. The worst performance for me was Scott Savol. People, STOP voting for him already! It was a pain hearing him sing something that he is obviously not comfortable with. And what's up with looking at the watch while Simon was giving him comments?! He is just not a pain to the ears but he needs an attitude adjustment. Best performance of the night, Bo Bice. Bo rocks! :D Notable performances, Vonzell Solomon and Anthony Federov. Vonzell did really well with I'm Every Woman. I wanted to stand up and dance around in our living room if it weren't for my back ache. Anthony did a little pout while doing his song. Cute. And that was what I remembered. Scott needs to go. He's not someone who I would buy records from so no need having him stay in the contest. :D So please please please, stop voting for him. -------------------- In AR7 last night, the unexpected happened. One of the stronger teams lost their way and was eliminated. And Meredith and Gretchen became the oldest couple who stayed the longest in the Amazing Race. That's all. :)

Pope John Paul II was elected pope 3 days after I was born. Pope Benedict XVI was elected pope on my brother's birthday. :) Viva il Papa!

But of course, it wouldn't be THAT easy. For the past month, I've been chasing people just to get an answer on some of the questions with regards to our housing loan. I have sent dozens of emails and submitted dozens of tickets to the request system just to get my questions answered. I have escalated issues to several managers just to get noticed. And I did get noticed, and I did get my questions answered. I finally have all the documents needed to start with the loan application. I am finally ready to submit the documents. But of course, on the day that all the documents are complete, the window receiving them is closed. Such is the story of my life.

Of course one of my AI early favorites was voted out. I wanted to blog about it but was so busy the past week that I completely forgot about it. Nadia Turner was the 5th person voted out of AI and now there are only 7. I can't believe that Bo was in the bottom 3. Sure, he was alittloe bad the past week, but I think he has enough fan base to support him. Meeya was saying that this might be a producer's ploy to ensure that people voted for who they want. Gosh! I wonder who's voting for Federov and Scott?! I'm just too tired of them already.

I am so dependent on my calendar that it I am a little shaken up if my schedule changes abrubtly. This is the case this week. I was feeling unwell this morning, but I couldn't not go to work because I knew that I had a class to teach this afternoon. Why am I so conscientious?! WHY?!

We have the Pinoy answer to Smallville. While channel surfing, I managed to stop on Channel 7 and caught a glimpse of Darna. Can't help but find similarities between it and Smallville. Smallville starts with a young Superman who has yet to be aware of his powers. Tonight's Darna episode had Darna not knowing what to do to convert back to her alterego Narda. Smallville has a hot young lead actor (Tom Welling) who is simply delicious. Can't stop staring at Angel Locsin's breasts. Smallville has a young version of Superman's arch enemy Lex Luthor. Darna has a young version of Darna's arch enemy Valentina. Smallville had Clark hanging out with a reporter Chloe. Narda has a reporter friend played by Wendell Ramos. One things good though, Angel was not holding her breath just to hide her stomach. Cute.

I wanted to try Live Blogging while watching American Idol, but I was too lazy to type last night. They did Musicals last night and let me tell you, I wish Scott Savol or Anthony Federov get eliminated. Constantine did well again last night, causing me to think that HE might be the next American Idol. Eeeewww! Anwar did great last night. He was in his element. He looked really relaxed and sang the song really well. Nadya did great too. I liked Bo's rendition of Corner in the Sky. It wasn't his best, but it was, definitely, all Bo. Hay Naku! If only I can vote.

I now know how Kris Aquino must feel. People who know me really well know that I am at times brutally honest. I think it has finally caught up on me. I had one of those foot in the mouth times today. I meant every word of it, but it was miscontrued by the other person. Anyways, can't do anything about it now. Sometimes I wish people would take everything with a grain of salt.

I've been having minor bouts of depression caused by a LOT of things that's piling up. First, been having problems with the housing loan that I applied for. It has really been a cause of much stress, that at times, I would just want to scream out or scream at someone. Second, had a so-so career discussion and so-so appraisal. Been pushing myself to be motivated and complete tasks. Motivating oneself is NOT that easy. And having tasks assigned to you left and right, is not helping. Third, been feeling under the weather for quite sometime. I think it might be caused by the previous 2 stressors that I listed down. It's just Wednesday, but I'm looking forward to the weekend. -------------------- Happy Thought of the day: The coffee vendor in our cafeteria is now giving Php5 discounts for people who use their own coffee cups rather than the disposable kind. This paid off!
