So DA POGI and I have decided on a move in day. We'll be moving into the new house by the end of this month. Right now, everything is a little chaotic. Last weekend we went to SM Dasmarinas to buy our refrigerator and stove. It will be delivered next weekend. Most of the furniture that we bought from SM Makati will be delivered next Sunday or if not that day, October 1. If it get's delivered on October 1, we'll sleep and eat on the floor until furniture comes in. We've been slowly moving in some of the little stuff (like wedding gifts that we got and we haven't used). I'm a little concerned on the actual moving in date, since it's really cutting eveything so close. Our last day here in the condo is September 30, and that is our moving day. I know I know, bad timing, but that is the only day that we would have most of the stuff available in the new house. I MIGHT be taking some time off from work during that week, but of course because of my busy schedule (don't ask me why), taking some time off will be painful afterwards. My husband taking time off work will be a bigger challenge. Wish us luck!

Thanks to Toni, TinTin, Pipaps, KoochieKooch and Mama Mee for helping me out in my interior decoration dilemma. I'm still a little confused as to how to decorate the common area, but at least I have now bottomed out on what to do with the upstairs bedrooms. This is a big improvement over my disorientation last week. So wish me luck! Maybe I'll post some pictures if the bedrooms turn out really well. :D

We bought our first big purchase for the house. We got ourselves a couch. Well, technically a love seat rather than a couch. A couch will not fit in the little space that should fit our dining room and living room. So we had to settle for a loveseat. It's brown, it's leather and it matches the paint (paint inside is yellow), so happy happy me. What's better is that we got it at 20% off thanks to Henry Sy. Now, the only thing that's a big problem is transporting it to Cavite. Yes, we liked the couch so much that we got it at SM Makati. It's not really an impulse buy because we've been eyeing that couch for 3 separate instances. Unfortunately, SM Dasma does not carry the same style. They only have it at Mall of Asia Home World and SM Makati Home World. If I have it delivered to Cavite, savings would only be 10%. Should I be a miser and just pick it up at SM? Hmmmm.....
