We went to Puerto Galera and the only (non) celebrity we saw was Ch@nt@l Umal1.
Anyway, vacation time was low down time. So much to tell but thinking about it, not really that exciting to everyone. Just had fun with my husband. Spent some quality time together. That's all.
End of the week last week surprised us with very exciting news. I'll post about it as soon as it's final. I just pray that everything will go well.

For people who know me, they know that I am a naturally grumpy person. I usually walk around with a scowl rather than a smile, and this has caused people to be generally afraid of me if they don't know me.
Anyway, these past few days (especially Monday. Monday was a manic Monday), I was so unbelievably grumpy, that I just gave up and told myself that I will try to be cheerful for the whole day yesterday. It did wonders for me. I am now feeling a little better. I had a bout of nausea last Tuesday because of stress.
I still wouldn't be crowned Miss Congeniality, but at least, I feel better. That's what really matters.
-------------------
I will be on vacation starting tomorrow.
Since I have no cellphone (replacement SIM hasn't come in yet), no one can reach me during my vacation. Not one, and the good thing about it is that even work will not be able to reach me.
Well, at least that's the plan. I just need to make sure that I don't bring my laptop with me.
Help?

I lost my cellphone again. This time on the bus on my way to work.
No SIM Card replacement yet. But if I do get my new SIM, would you be kind enough to send me your number?

Insanity is doing the same things the same way over and over and expecting different results everytime.
Not exactly the best statement to describe me, but I do love the fact that I have a certain amount of insanity within me. I hope that it's a healthy mix though sometimes, I think I am becoming to be too much of a grown-up that I forget to just let loose once in a while.
Insanity is letting loose without caring about what other people think.
--------------------
Now I really feel like a grown-up. For the first time in my life (yes, even after 2 years of marriage), I will be paying monthly car and house mortgages. Last night, DA POGI and I had "the talk" which resulted in a more solid plan on how I should handle my finances.
As most of my friends know, DA POGI is the financial expert in our household. However, for the past couple of months, he was a little loose, allowing me to go on shopping sprees. But last night, he told me what we needed to do, to tighten our purse strings so we can afford all the stuff that we want (furniture, vacations, little shopping sprees) even if we are already paying for the house and the car.
Hay! My only problem now is staying within the strict budget. I've gotten used to buying all the books (sige na nga) and shoes that I want that I hope I can stay within budget. I've had worse times and I know I can do this.
*Kala mo napakadeprived pag nabasa ito no.

We got Gio yesterday.
Uncle Pete had a very hard time letting go of him. I was half waiting for him to shed tears while they were saying their goodbyes. Uncle Pete had Gio's whole life documented. He even showed us all of Gio's checkups and all of his paperwork.
Last night, we showed Gio off to my parents-in-law. They oohed and aahed over how beautiful he is. I was like a proud mama, showing him off. Good thing Gia was not around, else I would have had to soothe her so as not to evoke any jealousy. She's DA POGI's girl anyway.
I had to leave Gio at my mom's house last night. We had no where to put him at last night that he had to spend some time with Lola. I told my mom to take good care of him as if he were her own grandchild.
Oh well, I'm looking forward to the weekend when I can see him again.

No, I haven't died and gone to heaven (though I wish that was my destination), I've just been terribly busy (which is never an excuse for not blogging).
So the past couple of weeks, I've been very busy with things here at work and things that's happening in my life. In the next couple of weeks, DA POGI and I will be celebrating 2 glorious years of married life. I was a little busy trying to line up activities for our anniversary week (yes, you read that right we have a whole week of activities).
On the work front, things have been really hectic with issues popping up left and right. It came to a point that I only had an average of 3 hours sleep every night just because I had to meet with some people in the US to consult on the issue. There are just some things that are out of control and it just so happens that the current issues are included in this bracket.
So how have you been?
