DA POGI's college best friend's son was born last Monday. Welcome to the world, Luigi!
Anyway, I was conversing with R's (DA POGI's college best friend) mom and she was telling me that she didn't want them to room in Luigi because it will mean that the new mom will take care of the baby right away. I asked if Luigi has been breastfed and hindi pa daw. And R's mom thinks that babies should not be purely breastfed. Kasi daw di tataba.
When I was talking to my mom, she had the same sentiment about not purely breastfeeding babies. Personally, I want to purely breastfeed our babies until they are a year old. Aside from the nutrients and anti-bodies that my babies will get from me, it will mean a big cost savings. As in big.
Hirap din pala. Kasi lumalabas na rin ang generation gap.

I'm sorry Bomb if it seemed that I often do not mention you in my blog.
But it sure was nice to see you last Thursday. I really missed you guys. It was as if I was being punished from seeing you too much before L's wedding that I had no chance to meet with you guys again. Did you know that it was a month and a half after we last saw each other?
And I am really glad that you have a job that you love and enjoy which also gives you security. I don't know if losing that much weight is a plus or a negative. But at least you seem to get along with everyone in your work except for that one program manager who was our high school schoolmate.
I am truly happy that we saw each other again last Thursday. Looking forward to seeing you guys more often.
PS. I am hoping that you still have some time in the future to look at my wardrobe again. YOU are my very own Carson Kressly.

A few things has happened during the last 2 weeks that I was unable to blog.
I arrived from the US on a Sunday, and went to work the next Monday. Was in meetings the whole week last week. Imagine my exhaustion after that week.
Went to La Luz in Laiya last Saturday for some R&R with our visiting colleagues. Was dead tired after that day. Went to Greenhills Shopping Center last Sunday with in-laws, when I had a bad migraine that DA POGI and I just decided to go home.
This week minimal meetings, so I actually had some work done. Got my digital leash. Office email can now reach me anytime, anywhere (as long as Smart has a signal).
Tomorrow, I am off from work. Probably spend some time with myself.
I missed my lull times.

Short business trips are tiring.
One has to compress all of the meetings into one short week, add all the team lunches that has to be organized and attended to, meet all the people you talk to on the phone for the first time, shop, and see the sights.
Very tiring in that, though I have no jetlag, I sleep at midnight and wake up at 4AM for no apparent reason. My body just knows that 4AM is wake up time, which is so not funny considering that work is 5 minutes away and starts at 8AM.
Can coffee be intravenously taken?

How close can you get to a guy friend before it is considered as chismis worthy?

I think my period will be coming in the next few days. I suddenly seem to have a sudden knack of noticing things that should go unnoticed.
Not that grammar on blogs should go unnoticed.
I admit, I am not 100% grammatically correct all the time and my spelling is not always correct (I have a tendency to spell license with lisence, or is it the other way around?). And my writing leaves much to be desired. I am not in the league of those so-called "sikat" bloggers. And I am not claiming to be an expert on the English language.
But I do know that Filipino does not directly translate into English. Ang init ng aming pagmamahalan does not equal The hotness of our love. Sorry, I can't think of a better example, but there are tons out there in the blogging world!
I also know when the correct tenses are used. Present tense is for action that is happening presently, Past tense is for actions done in the past, Future tense is for action that will be done in the future. It does no good for your readers to use present tense for past tense or past tense for present tense. In short, nakaka-tense. Or is it nakaka-tensed?*
And what is up with writing as if you are sending an SMS? Ndi me na22wa pagnagbbsa me ng gani2. What's wrong with the keys in your keyboard? The whole alphabet is in there for your use. Use it and be kind to your readers.
Don't say, here's my blog addy, check it out. Before you ask anyone to check it out, ensure that you have checked it out. No use in inviting people to your blog and complaining that people are mocking you.
I REALLY hate it when people disable anonymous commenting in their blogs.

I like bloghopping.
I like reading about other people's lives.
AND I know that whatever is written in blogs are probably just 10% of the whole writer's being.
But how do you tell someone to stop fantasizing about being sexy and beautiful when they are absolutely not? Or maybe, I have a different concept of what is sexy and beautiful that I fail to recognize why she thinks so highly of herself?
I hate it when people disable anonymous commenting.

Pretty uneventful holiday.
Just that I had tons of work to do and I really did not take the time to actually do work. I am a bit backed up already on the number of things that I need to accomplish, but I am always backed up and as long as I deliver things, so be it. They will continue to pile up, no matter what I do.
I planned to work Monday and today, and here I am blogging after 2 long days of taking care of my hubby who was nursing a fever since yesterday afternoon. Poor sick DA POGI had to be checked every so often just to see if his temperature has gone down. After more than 24 hours of paracetamol treatments and sponge baths, his temp is now back to normal. I hope it stays that way. Else, there will be this nasty business of taking him to the doctor tomorrow. I don't know who feels worse about being taken to the doctor, me or him.
I will be leaving again Saturday for work. It'll be a VERY short trip. I am hoping that I don't get homesick this time and that I survive the cold. And I hope my PDA comes in before I leave.
I guess, a text from someone last Sunday summed up my life for me.
"Jen, without a laptop? That's odd."
