I think I have done it. I have crossed over to the Land of "I bought something that I won't be able to use".
When DA POGI was on travel, I was doing some serious damage to my savings account. I was indulging in retail therapy, and I have a shelf full of new stuff to prove it. So one of my recent purchases were bronze flat shoes that I bought half off at Janylin's. They were comfy and nice to look at and I know that they would be great with jeans or slacks on a regular day.
Well, I was wrong! Looks like I won't be able to wear those shoes. When I tried them on for the first time yesterday (and believe me, I was wearing cute stuff that would go with my bronze shoes), they seem a little tight! See, to me, I have above average feet, free of calluses and dry spots that I don't want to risk getting a sore spot just because I was wearing tight shoes. Now, I'm thinking if I should give the shoes to my sister, or just give it another try. To wear it when I know I wouldn't do much walking but rather just showing off my new shoes. NOT.
But I need to wear those shoes, even just once. This is just so I wouldn't get an "I told you so" look from my mom.
