No pictures posted as promised.
My bespren is celebrating her birth anniversary today. And unlike Aids, who is probably plotting revenge, I won't be posting any pictures.
Today marks the birthday of my confidant. She's one of the first people I send an IM to if I have a funny story to tell, a chismis to confirm or a problem to solve. She knows almost everybody and would be friends instantly with them. I know for a fact that people trust her, and they should.
Bespren, thanks for being my friend. I don't know how I would've survived college without you. Thanks for all the happy memories and all the stories that make life colorful.
Happy Birthday!

Bedtime conversation with my husband.
Me: Hon, kung magkababy tayo, anong gusto mong tawag sa yo?
DP: May napili ka na ba?
Me: Meron na. Pero di ko sasabihin sa yo unless sabihin mo sa akin kung ano ang gusto mong patawag.
DP: Papa. Nasanay kasi ako sa Papa ko e.
Me: Ay! Naisip ko sana, Inay at Itay *giggles*
DP: Bahala ka. Basta gusto ko Papa. Goodnight Baby, Goodnight Honey.
Me: Goodnight Papa! Parang double meaning. *laughs*
At hindi pa po ako preggy. Wishful thinking lang.

Bliss Your touch is electric
I felt it the first time you held me
The way we connected
So easily
I've tried to define it
Searched for the perfect phrase
I've tried to describe it
In a million different ways
(Chorus)
It's joy, it's ecstasy, it's truth it's destiny
And even love is not enough
To tell you how you make me feel
There's only one word for this
I've got to admit it
You took my heart by surprise
Don't know how you did it
But baby, I've never felt so alive
(Chorus)
I already know what the future holds
As long as you are here with me
(Chorus)
It's joy, it's ecstasy, it's truth, it's destiny
To tell you how you make me feel
It's faith, it's honesty, it's life, it's everything
To say I love you is not enough
To tell you how you make me feel?
It's in your smile, it's in your kiss
It's the reason I exist
There's only one word for this
It's bliss (Alice Peacock feat. John Mayer)

As days pass by, it gets harder and harder to be a grown up.
I thought that as long as I can find the resources to buy our house we should be able to buy one without any problems. But now, thinking about it, it's not that easy. There are a lot of things that should be considered since this is not a small purchase. This is one of those knee-shaking purchases that will make your heart beat wildly.
I thought that as long as we find something that will fit our budget, it should be no problem. But how will DA POGI get to work if the budget that we set can only buy a house in the boondocks? Where are the nearest schools and are the nearest schools of high standard? How will I be able to get to and from work? How will we pay for the mortgage and live a decent life at the same time? How will our parents visit us if we live 2 hours away from where they are? How will we manage to live next to a field for cows?
Countless questions and some I don't think I can find a suitable answer. There are just so many things that needs to be considered and aside from these things, I still need to decide on mundane things and try to live as normal as I can.
O well! I have to grow up one of these days, why not start now? Right?

Picture taken by Eye during Pau and Anne's wedding. This is a picture of my college barkada, my thesis mates and my fellow survivors of UP EEE. The only one missing in the picture is Pau. :)

I was gonna blog about the UPEEE Alumni Homecoming last Saturday, but my very tight weekend prohibited me from doing so.
Bespren picked Les and I up at Shangri-la really early. Les being the master of ceremonies and over-all homecoming chairperson. We arrived at the new EEE building at 5pm, an hour early for the registration. So we just went to our old lab and chatted with our thesis adviser.
Saw a couple of my batchmates but most of the people that came are from batch 1980 (since they are silver Jubilarians). Saw the ever reliable lolo from batch 1938(?) who came every year! Lolo won one of the major prizes pa. Highlight of the night, Bespren winning a printer. I was so looking forward to having my name called as the winner of the 21" TV but it was not to be. Sat with a couple of our batchmates. Chatted up with C who from college I thought was really suplado. Pero that night, feeling close ako. *laugh out loud* And of course, since there are still a lot of give-aways available, I got a key-chain and paper weight (from last year), a parker pen and a meralco planner and car shade. All thanks to knowing the right people. :D
And if you are a UPEEE alumni, please do donate to the new library/study hall that the College of Engineering is building. ComSci will also be staying at this new building. For more details, visit http://www.engg.upd.edu.ph/EnggChair.html
