I've gone back to being juvenile.
I remember back in high school, I was a regular at the library. I read book 1-89 of Sweet Valley High just by borrowing them from the library. In my high school, at least, you will be regarded as a geek if you frequent the library almost everyday. And geek I was tagged.
I read a lot of Sweet Dreams Novels when I was in High School. I remember that my English teacher, Miss Dizon, asked us to read PS I Love you as a reading assignment for class. It was a hit! By the end of the quarter, most of us were hooked into reading. But of course there are some who stopped reading, some who stayed with romance novels and some who progressed into more mature novels.
I am reminiscing about high school pocket books because I went back to high school. I am currently reading The Princess Diaries. Enjoying it so much that I am now in book 3. It's hard for me to put down.

The love shack is clean as a whistle.
Spent the Friday night cleaning the bathroom. I had so much fun cleaning that I decided to spend Saturday cleaning house. DA POGI cleaned the aircon filters, malamig na uli ang bahay namin. I changed curtains and cleaned the kitchen floors. We also did some vacuuming kaya the floors and the rug are clean uli. The only problem is, I am now obsessing about keeping it clean. Everytime I see a spot on the kitchen tiles, I wipe it off. I see a small speck of dust, I bring out the broom. Hay naku! Sana I get tired of being obsessive. I need to just enjoy the clean space and if it's not clean anymore, clean it again next week na lang.
After cleaning up, DA POGI and I went out and watched The Stepford Wives. The movie is good. Bette Midler is funny and Glenn Close was just too OA na ang funny funny niya. Pero ang masasabi ko lang, ang ganda talaga ni Nicole Kidman. Kahit na anong buhok pa niya, ang ganda talaga.
Sorry Anne for spilling the beans on the TAR5 Ep. Was really disappointed lang of the elimination. Kami and Karli na kami ngayon. :D

My favorite Amazing Race team was eliminated last night.
I'm really rooting for Charla. Mirna is such a pain in the butt, even I sometimes want to whack her in the head for b*tching about almost anything. But let's face it, if Mirna was not around, the race would probably be boring because everyone will be getting along. What I watch in the show is what Mirna and Colin will say to each other. I hate Colin. As in to me, he treats Christie like a doormat and he's too hot tempered.
So since my favorite team has been eliminated, I'll be rooting for Karla and Kimi now. Sisters are just the best.
Elapot, I tried commenting in your blog. My browser hung. Anyways, the TAR host is Phil Keoghan.

One of my bridesmaids got engaged during the weekend. Finally heard the very romantic proposal and saw the ring. I'm really happy for her. And C is actually the first guy that everyone in our barkada got along with.
In the back of my head, I'm actually thinking, Wedding Planning! Lumabas na naman ang pagka OC bride ko.

Tidbits from last night:
- Had my picture taken for my visa application. It's just now that I see how much weight I have gained. It shows in my cheeks. I can give Judy Ann Santos a run for her money.
- Had a haircut last night. Chopped off about 3 inches off my hair. After the haircut my sister commented that it's still a little long. Hay! Chopping 3 inches seemed like too much for me. Am I finally getting used to long hair?
- My sister also had a haircut, she's now sporting bangs. It's so Claudine Baretto in Milan. ;) Sya si Claudine, basta ba ako si Jennifer Aniston e.
- My husband reminded his dad to watch Queer Eye for the Straight Guy before we went home. When we arrived home, he called up his dad to remind him to watch Queer Eye. Funny ng asawa ko.
- I drove home last night. As in passed through South Super Highway with no major incidents. I really enjoyed driving. If it were not for my upcoming trip, I wouldn't have driven. Super tamad ako because I have a husband who drives me wherever I want to go.

Jologs alert!
Yesterday, I did a movie marathon of sorts. I watched 2 Tagalog movies back to back on DVD.
Movie #1 is Bridal Shower. It's the story of 3 women, going through different tough times in their lives. Tates (Dina Bonnevie) was a woman with a promiscous past who feel in love with a guy who only used her to get money for his annulment. Sonya (Francine Prieto) was a two timer who got pregnant and didn't know who the father of her baby was. And lastly, Katie (Cherrie Pie Picache) was an overweight woman who has yet to find a man to love her.
Francine Prieto was not so palengkera in the movie. It was actually very fun to watch it. One of the funniest scenes throughout is when Joebert (Alfred Vargas), a macho dancer, and Katie were about to do the deed. Katie was insisting that they turn off the lights and Joebert wanted it turned on. When Katie was all naked, Joebert said "Patayin na nga lang natin ang ilaw."
The movie was peppered with one liners that would make you wish you thought of it. It was actually very funny. Also, it was very visual in that it puts in tag lines whenever the men are shown. Since the 3 women work in an ad agency, they use known tag lines. Like "Tender Juicy", "Finger-lickin good". Hindi kaya sila mademanda ng infringement?
Movie #2 is All my Life. It's a movie about finding love in the most unexpected times. Sam (Aga Muhlach) was a guy trying to live his short life to the fullest and Louie (Kristine Hermosa) was a gal who is organized to the point of being obsessive compulsive. The two are so different, it gives meaning to opposites attract.
They met on a cruise, Sam to be left alone by everyone who is worried about him and Louie to get away from a disastrous wedding. The scenes actually made me want to go on a Star Cruise (Second Honeymoon, perhaps?). For me, Aga Muhlach seems so old for Kristine Hermosa. They look more like brother and sister. But halfway through the movie, I just forgot that Aga was Aga and Kristine was Kristine, and just concentrated on the characters. I loved the ending. I cried buckets when Sam died. Kaya lang, the ending reminded me too much of another movie. Sam dying is just so A Walk to Remember, complete with monologue in the beginning and end of the movie. Sam recording messages for his would-be child reminded me of another movie. I can't remember the title but I know that I have watched it somewhere. But for a blah Sunday afternoon, watching it was actually a treat. Just forget that Aga is too old for Kristine.
So there. DA POGI and I actually enjoyed watching these films. And I thank my sister for providing us with the DVDs. I actually recommend both films for their entertainment value. :)

Was down 1.5 days because of the darn cold.
I was treated like a princess for 3 days because of the cold. Can't complain much since DA POGI really stepped in and made sure I was comfortable while I was sick. Didn't even lift a finger the past 3 days and we were still able to eat. :D
I'm just so lucky that I have a husband who takes care of me. :)

Colds. I have them now. Probably got it from DA POGI. Now it's my turn to sneeze and cough.
Was wandering around SM with my mom and DA POGI last weekend. My mom and I wanted to buy Happy Feet Sandals. Kaya lang my feet were too large, no size na for me. I'm hoping I have a size at SM Makati. Yun na lang ang pag-asa ko.
Wanted to buy pink pa sana. Kaso lang, the saleslady said that their large sizes are usually white. I wonder where I can buy for me and my mom. Kasi pati sya wala na ring size.
Sana umuwi na lang ako. Super drowsy na ng feeling ko. :(

And I am back!
Back in the groove of things. I just talked to a friend and told him that I am back 100% in my job. Don't want to slack anymore, but I would want to completely be back to where I was before. Sure, I may not be outstanding material, but me thinks, I can give people a run for their money. ;)
I'm babbling. Will post more later.

Been encountering a couple of ups and downs in my life. I think its normal to have ups and downs else my life would be utterly boring. Not that its totally rocking now. :)
Anyways, haven't been blogging simply because there's nothing to blog about. Haven't had too much trivial stuff happening to me that's why I have nothing to blog about.
