My cousin got married in Batangas yesterday. The place was gorgeous! I know it's too far but it was very beautiful, magical even. I was in awe when I entered the reception venue.
Anyways, got me thinking real hard about getting a coordinator. Her mass had a lot of booboos in that the person she assigned to check the flow of the wedding and make sure that everything was ok left her place after she arranged the wedding procession. The bearers didn't know when to stand up, and the cord and veil sponsors stand up and sit down as if trying to find out if they are to take the veil and cord already.
But according to my other cousin, who got married ages ago, every wedding has its quirks. Which is true by the way. One can never have a perfect wedding however hard you work at it. There will always be that one thing that wouldn't fall into place. One cousin of mine got married without a photographer in sight, and the other had half of her food stolen. So, yesterday's wedding would seem perfect compared with the other incidents, di ba?
And the wedding was so small. As in less than 100 people. Maybe because the place was so far (the bride and the groom are both not from batangas), only people who really wanted to witness the event came. Most of the people there are relatives of the groom. There were only 20 of us from the bride's side of the family. The affair was so small that the boquet toss and garter toss consisted of cousins! :p
Anyways, Best Wishes to J and my new cousin B! :)
