Full weekend.
Went to the w@w Christmas party last Friday. Didn't win anything. Was just another face in the crowd.
Saturday was partying with the Sims. Didn't even notice that I've been playing non-stop for 5 hours until my mom woke up from her nap and noticed that I didn't move from my seat since after lunch. Had to make a mad dash to make it to DA POGI's brother's birthday dinner. After dinner, DA POGI, his parents, his bro and the bro's girlfriend, and me drove towards Roxas Boulevard, just to see the sights. Was quite amused with the people and "shows" that can be seen in Boardwalk. Too bad I didn't have a camera with me. After boardwalk, we went to Cavite to bring home the brother's girlfriend. Finally went to sleep around midnight.
On Sunday, got up really early to go to a family reunion on DA POGI's maternal grandmother's maternal side. Party was at a posh village, in a lot where 5 houses can be built. Sayang, we're not at all close to these people. If ever, I would really really ask if we can use their garden for the reception. There were at least 150 people in the reunion and we all fit in 1/4 of the garden area. The ampitheater (yes they have an ampitheater in their home) and putting greens (yes they have a putting green, but I would call it a one-hole golf course. ang laki e!) were still unoccupied. Added to the fact that there was a sprinkling of cabanas around the area. Basta the place was impressive, the party however was not. I had a cold at the end of the day due to staying out too long in the sun. Go figure.
Dinner was spent at DA POGI's uncles house for his birthday. It was an all Japanese feast. I was so thankful that I still had the energy to go to this one, since sulit talaga! There was a sushi bar, and you can have your fill of makis, sashimis and sushis. Overflowing tempura pa! Was a little star struck seeing Gloria Diaz among the guests. I almost went up to her to ask her what she would say to the first man on the moon. Hehehe..

On a thinking note, our future child will be related (hindi ko na inisip kung ilang degrees.) to Ryan Cayabyab, Gen. Fortunato Abat, Juan Ponce Enrile, and most especially, Dolphy.
Sobrang well rounded ng genes a.

I'm getting married 2 weeks after the elections. I'm a little concerned about the output of the elections (see previous post) and how it will affect my wedding. Yes, I am now currently reduced to being a mad bride that I really don't care what will happen just as long as there are no riots in EDSA so that my guests could safely go to my wedding.
I'll be seriously pissed if there will be an EDSA2 kind of party during my wedding.
Feh! Why did he have to make things harder for Filipinos?

Two nights. That's how many nights I stayed up late just to play The Sims. I know that it is not exactly the in-nest game right now, but is sure is addicting. I finally got my Sims to sleep in the same bed after 4 days, kiss after another 4 days. Last night, I got home at 8PM and stayed up till 1130. Didn't even notice the time fly!
Tonight, I run. No more Sims tonight. Holiday naman bukas e. :)

I just found out that I am completely masochistic. After the episode of having booster shots on my right arm, I am now drinking ice cold frappuccinos in our already cold offices.
Hay naku!

Completely forgot about R's birthday lunch yesterday. Was supposed to go to Bulacan but because of the mayhem in my schedule caused by the Comelec validation, good thing I passed on the Bulacan trip. Pero ang weird, nakalimutan ko ang lunch para sa friend ko.
Boring weekend. Spent most of it online. Buti na lang may YM at MSN. Buhay na din ako. :)

Kris Aquino has lost her marbles. Joey's gun pointing has really traumatized her that she is now supporting either FPJ, if he runs, or Ping Lacson. Looks as if Kris is really trying hard to make her father turn in his grave. But you gotta love the chutzpah of this girl. She takes the word rebellion to all new heights.

What do you do when your mom asks you what XP in Windows XP mean? Or even why we have XP instead of Windows 98?

Got the pictures from my first ever prenups. Anyways, I know the day is so far off! I might be the first person ever to have prenups done 8 months before the wedding.
Mitch, email ko sa yo ang link. :)

Pretty uneventful weekend. Only thing that perked me up was a quick trip to the dentist for cleaning and a haircut at the neighborhood salon. Was missing DA POGI miserably, so missing him meant a really childish me.
He came home bearing gifts of all kinds. Just to appease the child in me. And being the pouty child, it just made me smile. He just had to comment that he liked the way my smile lit up my face when he came in.
Now I am happy happy happy. A great way to start the week.

I just have to say that I hate it when it rains. I really really hate it. The usual 2 hour drive from Cavite to Glorietta took 4 hours. I was cursing all the taxi drivers in the greater Manila area for refusing to take me home. Add to that the fact that Glorietta just had to have a sale, DA POGI was MIA, and I had almost no money. Friday was just a natural suckfest.

With my current obsession with running, of course I had to suit up correctly. My crosstraining Prestos were giving me problems when running (my toes hurt after a run) that I just had to go and find a decent running shoe.
Just so happened that Royal Sporting House had a sale. So I went to Glorietta, thinking that I might be able to find a cool pair of running shoes for a cool girl like me (this is my blog). Unfortunately, even when I thought I had big feet, they were all out of my size. I was thinking of getting these cool Adidas pink climacool running shoes. So off to Toby's I went, found the Adidas, but next to it was a NikeGoddess Air Storm Shear. They were the same price as the Adidas that were on sale and they fit more comfortably.
I can't wait for my run tomorrow. I'm breaking in the shoes today so that it would be perfect tomorrow.
Feel na feel ko ang pagiging athlete ko. I just have to lose a few more pounds so that I won't feel so heavy when I run.
*Can't post decent pics of the shoe. Dang micromedia!

Ok. In the years that I have been following the results of the ECE board (call me weird or something), UP EEE has always been 100% passing in the boards. Granted we don't take the Top spot (no one has had the time to study for it), no one has failed the boards.
Today, I found out from R that one of our own failed the boards. I figure, instant recognition for him. Thy shall be called the one who did not make it.
Ang sama ko.

I'm thinking of registering for the 5k marathon in Ayala 2 weeks from now. The only thing stopping me is my determination to submit the registration form. I'm just not set on taking time off just to be able to go to UM or RCBC to register.
Feeling athlete naman ako.

Threw a couple of frisbees last night. My palm now hurts from catching it pancake style. I just can't seem to catch it correctly. I seem to have pulled something in my pinkie that now disallows it to move freely. I'm not playing again.
I know it sounds like I'm a quitter. I just don't know how I'll be able to play if my hand-eye coordination sucks. And mind you, it sucks pretty bad.
Ran a lap with DA POGI. I told him that I'll still go with him if he wants to play frisbee but I'll just run while he plays. Or I'll watch them play.
I hope my palms don't bruise.

Been out of the blogging groove for a couple of days. Nothing so interesting to write. I never write much interesting stuff anyways, so what the heck!
I lost 2 lbs. Don't know why. Just when I started not to think about dieting, I lose weight. The fruits are really kicking in. I started to eat fruits (and have my fill) rather than eating rice. So far it's working, I think...
Last night, DA POGI and I tried BulgogiSam in Glorietta food court. Their Grilled Chicken was a little salty. Maybe the Karpentero rice is used to counteract the saltiness. When I say karpentero rice, I meant rice quantities good enough to feed a carpenter.
Work uli. Medyo sinisipag si Ako e.

People make really bad decisions when they don't think it through. I had a flu vaccination earlier today and without thinking, I told the nurse that she can inject it in my right arm. Really bad decision, now my arm feels so tired.
One of those days that I wish I was left handed.

It pisses me off that people keep on complaining about the state of the Philippines when they themselves submit to the pangongotong and all the red tape. It also leaves a bad taste if you keep on complaining and yet you haven't registered for the National elections. It's worse that you complain about it and yet you are not even here in the Philippines. If you forsake your rights as a Filipino, I don't think you have the right to complain that the Philippines is going to the dogs.
Some people talaga oo.

Never knew that girl talk would do me so much good.
I was out with The Bomb and L last Friday for dinner and some gift shopping (mostly L). We talked about the wedding plans and all. Made me realize things about myself. How much I am in love with the man that I am gonna marry.
I told L Saturday that I was surprised that I said those things. How it seemed so easy for me to answer from the heart, and how those answers may be different from what they know of me.
In other words, I came across as a girl who is super in love.
I hope I stay this way for as long as we're together.
