Saddam Hussein has not yet left Iraq. So, I guess the war is still on. I don't get it. The UN is trying to solve everything diplomatically, but the US just can't wait to bomb Iraq. According to my american colleague, it just has gone long enough that they need to force Saddam out. In my humble opinion, why would they want to talk about it if only to go the other way? Kinda defeats the UN's purpose. They're sending out memos for in case the war breaks out. I have heard of an engineer in my division that was called to military duty. He has filed an indefinite leave of absence for this. GMA is supporting the US on their decision against Iraq. Can't blame her. I would rather have a president that took a stand than a president who's a plunderer. But if I had a choice, it would be no war at all. Funny, during the last Gulf war, I went on with my life as if it doesn't affect me. And now, I am actually worried. I must be getting old.
