I wanted to go shopping for a new pair of pants yesterday. Was greatly depressed when I went home empty handed.
Since we wear casual clothes at the office, there's really no need for me to buy slacks or skirts. I have grown accustomed to wearing jeans and cargo pants to the office. I've gained so much weight in the last two years that the number of usable jeans that I have is now trimmed to a whopping four.
Then my JAG jeans, decided to say adieu. So that leaves me with three, which is not a bad number if I don't wear jeans everyday.
When I started gaining weight, it concentrated mostly on the rear area. As I fitted pants yesterday, I knew that there would be a problem. I would have difficulty sliding my hips into the pants that fit my neck (by theory, the neck is 1/2 the size of the waist). If I get a larger size, the waist becomes so loose that I could fit an arm and still have room for movement. I am basically a pear shaped person.
I guess I'd just have to do something about it. Hmmm.... Something to ponder upon.
